Leaving the sun

So I’m again sitting an airport, this time waiting to return home to Vancouver. It’s currently 4 am in the morning, and I’m sitting at my gate waiting for my flight. How do you ask am i returning home, well, i am flying now to Frankfurt, where i intend to partake in some pretzel eating. Then I’m going to Amsterdam, where i plan to partake in some form of eating, and finally i board for Vancouver, where i intend to pass out.

I have been updated that my tomatoes are just on the brink of being ripe, and are waiting for me to come back to be ready! Cool! Ginger is also waiting to be picked up from the vet, I’m sure she will be glad to be home too.

Overall, I’ve had a great trip here in Israel. As always, the two weeks goes by way to fast, and there is much we did not accomplish. But there is a lot i did accomplish, we ate all the food i wanted, and went to the beach enough times that perhaps i got a tan.

I have still some fun posts about what has been going on for the last few days, so i guess ill work on that this weekend as I’m cooped up in the house due to rain.

Lastly, i leave you all with a picture of the ginormous entry and exit hall to ben gurion airport. This really is an amazing and modern airport. I did not feel up to getting my camera out and photographing the huge central circle with the waterfall, you all will just have to come see it yourself. I did snap the other photo with my iPhone.maybe ill try to capture an HDR of that some day I’m more organized.

Talk to you all from the pacific northwest.
