Boyce Arboretum

While in Arizona last christmas, i finally got a chance to go to the Boyce Arboretum on the way out of phoenix heading to miami, arizona.  its a huge arboretum nestled into a little canyon, and there’s tons of cacti, trees and cool plants.  I don’t know if dec is the best time of year to go, but it was still very nice.   My friend Chris and his girlfriend joined myself and my dad for the trip.  so lets get started.

damn cute hedgehog cacti.these guys are endangered

interesting story, these were spread around one of the mine sights ive worked at, and they had to collect them all and put them into a little nursery somewhere safe away from the mining activities.

i love the look of these barrel cacti.
